Burlington Elks Lodge #84 working together with the Burlington Fire Department. So far we have installed almost 3000 Smoke detectors and almost 400 CO detectors. This was made possible through the Beacon Grant and Fundraising by the Elks Lodge.
On Saturday, September 19, 2015, bright and early at 7am, the three different organizations (The American Red Cross, Burlington Fire Department and Burlington Elks Lodge #84) joined forces in fire prevention at the Burlington Elks Lodge #84 for training and organization of equipment, then off to the neighborhoods.
Over 80 volunteers will be out and a prediction of over 700 smoke detectors were installed. Another great victory for our organizations "Working together, making your home safe...".
